It has been a year since my last visit. For better or worse, depending upon your taste, The Cafe continues to be a sure bet for dancing & people watchin!

If you looking for "underground" music this place will not be for your. This place proudly plays bubble top 40 dance and hip hop. It is a place to just have a good time with your friends. You can count on a finding people dancing most any night of the week.
While many dance bars are doing away witb Pool tables this one has retained it.
The Cafe continues to be that place where you bring your straight friends. That being said the place has never felt overrun by straight folks.
One of the few bars that has successfully integrated the smoking area into the venue, while keeping the smoke out of the venue.
The place also has a fabo view of the Castro/Market intersection.
