4 StarsSuper Soul Sundays, Feb 03, 2007
Reviewer: j. Maximimilan from berkeley, ca

For those of you who just cannot put away those dancin shoes and love showering in the warmth of Soulful Hose music run, don't walk to this Sunday evening event.
This events takes over from the Sunday t-dance at 8pm. Resident DJ David Harness and guests keep things movin till four in the morning.

While the dance floor is not crowded in the early evening, it is never dead. Things pick up by late evening.

The crowd is queer leaning, but has a large number of Straight, but not narrow by any stretch. This is a laid back, accepting live and let live crowd.

As for the Gay Men, it is a mix of everthing from Circuit boys to Ghetto Queens!

National holidays (when we get Monday off) can be very busy. Doors do not close until late morning or early afternoon!

4 StarsSunday Morning Tea Dance!, Nov 10, 2005
Reviewer: J. Maximilian from Berkeley, Ca USA

Hey Folks,

A tour of San Francisco nightlife would not be complete without taking part in the Sunday morning Tea Dance Ritual. Doors open around 6am and do not close until well after 2am on Monday morning.Guests DJ play around 11am. Things quiet down in the mid afternoon, then pick up after 8 or 10 in the evening.

Resident and guests play a great mix of Deep House, Progressive, Soulful and a few classics for spice.

This fall they are celebrating thier 32nd year. So get out there are take part in a bit of living history.
