When I lived in Chicago, I loved hanging out at Big Chicks. Michelle Fire and the staff are so friendly and fun, and the atmosphere is laid-back and easy-going. Drink prices are reasonable, and there are nightly drink specials. Dancing in the Salon on the weekends and the Sunday buffet (Michelle's free weekly "thank you" to the patrons) keeps the regulars coming back for more, and welcomes newbies to the fold. It's a great alternative to the "scene" bars on Halsted.
