This place is so not fun... Expensive drinks, bad music, drugged out people.... Not a fan...

They pack them in by putting big name dj's in there. Otherwise they would probably not be busy, its kinda like an old rave scene, and we all know how old those are now.

Hydrate, ahhhhh...A definite stop on your bar hop when you're visiting Chicago's Boystown. A funky bar early evening, DJ/drag/entertainment lounge later, and an after-hours dance club with national DJ's spinning circuit and house late.

My favorite nights are Monday and Friday, but your pretty much guaranteed a good late night out 7 days a week as Hydrate knows how compete on Halstead St by offering good DJ's, jelly wrestling nights, drag shows, and generally a younger diverse crowd.

Monday nights here sure win the best Monday night on the strip, as it's Hydrate's '1 dollar a drink' night and this can get crazy with the younger over 21 crowd. Cute cruisey boys, great sound system and a chance of a good hook-up.

Hydrate really heats up after 2am and there's usually a line and cover...but that's definitely justified as it does have a good music policy that generally attracts a fare share of the visiting and resident cuties.

Recommended late!!!
