In a nutshell: Honey, this is history. The Eagle isn't just a leather bar; it's a foundational piece of San Francisco's gay history. What sets this Eagle apart is that massive outdoor patio—the place absolutely packs out, especially during the legendary Sunday Beer Busts. The events calendar is wonderfully diverse, too: We have everything from a comedy club and open mic nights to chaotic karaoke. Right outside, you’ll find the new Eagle Plaza, a public green space dedicated to the leather community. Look up: There’s a sixty-foot flag proudly flying the black, blue, and white stripes.
