2005: Relocated to Chicago to work for a dot com. Launched ClubFly.com beta as a prototype on November 1st 2005.
2004: Fell off a table dancing at my New Year's Eve party in New York City and broke my ankle in 3 places, resulting in surgery/plate/medical bill/hangover/sobriety. (I don't even remember the incident I have to admit, I was pretty wasted but in the good hands of friends, and did get to see the pictures). Took a break from DJ'ing.
2003: Senior Front-End Developer on RoyalCaribbean.com and NEC America. Resident DJ at Liquid. Relocated to New York City - dodging lay-offs and seeking more fun.
2002: Worked on WellsFargo.com and Sun.com, DJ resident at the Stud and Zebulon, San Francisco, took a 6 month break from the web to DJ more.
2001: Relocated to San Francisco. Front end developer on iPlanet.com (Now Netscape) then Calfed Bank (Now Citibank). Threw Underground warehouse parties with 3 colleagues and dodging the party police.
2000: Virgin Creative Team poached by Zefer, a Boston based Web Consultancy. (They took us out every night in London and I signed my contract whilst drunk on champagne, the right way to hire brits). Arrived in the USA during dot-com fever. My first web project in Boston was Information Architect on Punto-Com, a Latin American new-media magazine.
1999: Link-it! Acquired in 1999 by Flextech (Bravo TV) in the UK. Lived it up spending the cash (I turned down all the silly offers of equity in start-ups and took the cash and ran ;-) on world travels and worldly hangovers. Joined Virgin.net and worked as a Senior Technical Designer on their Entertainment Portal.
1998: Link-It! bandwidth exceeds 38 gig a week and I'm hit with huge bandwidth bills. Acquisition meetings start in London.
1997: Link-it! a Yahoo Cool Site, gathered huge following with its listings.
1996: Worked at some dodgy internet companies to pay the bills.
1995: Founded Link-it! The first Comedy and TV listings portal in UK.
Pre-modem: Very blurry, In a band, Artist Management, Waited Tables, Butler - that sort of thing. Studied Information Technology.
Born on St Patrick's day by an Irish midwife in South Wales, UK. Midwife gave my mum a 3-leaf clover and declared me a "f'king lucky baby".
